Candlelight vigil held in Colombo

(Colombo: 23, December) A candlelight vigil was organized by the Sri Lankans and Expat Pakistanis based in Sri Lanka to express solidarity with the victims of Peshawar school carnage.

A large number of people representing cross section of society including children participated in this memorial ceremony. The High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka HE Qasim Qureshi, Officers of Pakistan High Commission and their families of also attended the vigil.

The speakers on the occasion strongly condemned the brutal terrorist attack and demanded that the ongoing war on terror should be continued till its logical end.
