The Election Manifesto of President Mahinda Rajapaksa for the 2015 Presidential Poll was unveiled December 23 in Colombo. This election manifesto has been named “Mahinda Chinthana-Lowa Dinana Maga”.

The President was welcome at the ceremony by Senior Vice Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva and the ceremony was inaugurated with the lighting of the Oil Lamp. The Election Manifesto of President Mahinda Rajapaksa seeking his third term in Office and titled “Mahinda Chinthana-Lowa Dinana Maga” was first presented to the Maha Sangha. Subsequently it was presented to the other religious leaders.

Later the President presented his election manifesto to Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne and the Ministers and MPs afterwards. Leader of the Mahajana Eksath peramuna Dinesh Gunawardena addressed the gathering.
