Dulanjali Jayakody, the daughter of late President R. Premadasa was questioned by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for allegedly depositing fake notes worth Rs. two million at a private bank in Colombo 7, police said.

Police said that she had tried to deposit 400 of Rs. 5,000 notes; after police questioned her they took one person into custody.
